{{WELCOME!! If you like what you see, I hope you'll consider becoming a follower!}}
I am sure you have all seen these already, but just in case someone has had their head in the sand I thought I would post these cute strawberries I made last year. I actually made them for my 3 year olds birthday party because he LOVES red, white, and blue. He also loved dinosaurs at the time so we had a red, white, and blue dinosaur party.
To make these, just wash your strawberries and allow them to dry on a towel. Once dry, dip them in melted white chocolate chips or candy melts, then directly into a bowl of blue sprinkles. These are not only cute and festive but they are super yummy! You can do it with any combo of colors, as long as red fits in with your decor!
Here are a couple other pics from that birthday party last year. It was a super easy, simple one at the park. The kids had a great time!
I must have had my head in the sand! Those are AWESOME! (Especially since my birthday is July 4th!) I think I'll be making some strawberries for my birthday....
ReplyDeleteI must say...you look like you're an outstanding chef!! What a great easy recipe!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I have my head in the sand - I have never seen these. :) They sound so easy and would be fun for July 4!
ReplyDeleteOK - I have had my head in the sand - because those strawberries are too cool!!!

WOW - these look super cute! Thanks for sharing. Now, I have to ask - what is that AMAZING salad you have there? Looks so good and I have a 3rd birthday to throw in a couple of weeks - I would love to use both ideas! Thanks for the inspiration!

P.S. I still miss my favorite little redheaded friend...it's good "seeing" his sweet smile again. :)
Just Pinned this! Found you via Under the Table and Dreaming.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I saw these at some point in time, but totally forgot. Love them. I've got strawberries on my list of groceries tomorrow so I will totally make these & plan on taking them to our 4th of July party! Thanks for the cute idea! Just popping by from JaG Blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI found this strawberry dipped recipe under, "15 Healthy Snacks for Kids." With all due respect, artificial colors are NOT kid friendly, as many children have adverse reactions. (i.e. hyperactivity, ADHD type behavior, etc..) They are cute, but, should not be considered a "healthy" snack!
ReplyDeleteKim, I never claimed these were a healthy snack for kids. Avoidance of all food dyes is extremely difficult. Personally, I feel fine about feeding my kids a dessert like this.
DeleteThanks for posting these- one of those "why didn't I think of that!" things! As far as the healthy snack issue , these are meant to be a festive treat and certainly not meant to be consumed by anyone en masse, just a few to add something special to a celebration.
ReplyDeletewow so cute
ReplyDeletei hope cook the strawberry
