A LETTER TO MY READERS….

Dear all my wonderful and amazing readers,

You may have noticed I’ve been doing some blog housekeeping around here.  Things are looking a little differently, functioning a little differently.  I hope I am making some things easier for you to navigate to find the topics you’re most interested in!  I really don’t know what I am doing. I just read about something, find a tutorial, and then try to make it work. So, if you notice anything amiss, PLEASE send me an email and let me know.  I will love you forever!

Also, if you subscribe by email or to my feed, you may have noticed I have started including page breaks to my posts.  I hope you can understand my reasoning.  One is that I can put more posts on the first page of my blog and still have it load at a reasonable speed.  Another is that it gets people to click through to my blog more.  I put a lot of time into this blog and I’ve decided it’s time that I start allowing a few ads on my blog so that I can make a little money while doing this.  It’s not all about the money, but I’ve decided it’s a necessary incentive to keep me blogging.  Ads only work when people see them, so that is why it’s important that I have people actually visit my blog to read my posts.  I don’t want to include ads in my feed at this point.  To make you happier, I will always put enough of the post that you will be able to tell if its something you are interested in coming over to read or not. I hope you understand and don’t hate me for doing it! I know it’s a little annoying.

The last thing I want to talk about quickly is commenting.  I get so few comments on this blog that I wonder if anyone is even reading it.  So, if you read a post that you find useful in any way, I would SURE LOVE IT if you would leave me a quick comment.  I don’t even require comment moderation, so its fast and easy!  That way I won’t feel like I am just posting my life to outer space!  Also, if you download a free printable, please leave me a comment.  It makes me feel good! I will do my best to respond to every comment I get in the comment thread.

    Change is a good thing! I checked out your recipes a minute ago & I can tell you have a sweet tooth. ;) I'll check back in when I try a few of your recipes. Thanks for sharing!

      I have a major sweet tooth, but I now have all the non-sugary recipes under the tab as well. Enjoy!

    Since you don't have CAPTCHA, do you notice you get spam comments a lot? I took mine off and that happens all the time now for some reason. :(

      Nicole, yes I get spam. I had set it to not allow anonymous comments but then a reader told me that she couldn't comment because she didn't have any kind of account to log in with. So, I just changed it back to allow anonymous comments and immediately got more spam. I think the spammers have some type of program that automatically posts on some posts of mine. But, I have my setting set to require comment moderation on posts older than 30 days and also blogger is really good at filtering spam and not posting it as a comment. I almost never have any spam actually posted as a comment. I think the only stuff that actually gets posted is when a person is really writing the comment themself.
