Lightening Fast Banner Project {ReMarkableHome.net}

The other day while making my big St. Patrick’s Day banner and waiting for my cute neighbor to get home from the craft store with glitter for me to finish it, I used some paper scraps to make this super cute little bunting banner!  It took about 10-15 minutes!  Isn’t it darling?

Lightening Fast Mini Banner Tutorial {ReMarkableHome.net}

To make it simply..... make yourself a little template with a piece of cardstock or cardboard.  Mine is 2 1/4” High x 1 3/4” wide at the top.

Trace around your template onto the back of the paper you are using.  Make sure you line it up so stripes or patterns go the direction you want.  Then cut the two slanted lines, extending them about 1/4” above the top line.  Don’t cut the top line…that’s the fold line.  Cut a line about 1/4” above the top line so you have a tab to fold down in the back.  This is where your string will go.  Fold it back on the top fold line and then trim off the extra little pieces on the sides.

Hopefully this little diagram will help (click on it to make it bigger):

Once you have all your little flags, just run a bead of glue along the back of the fold, put some string in and close the fold down.  Embellish however you’d like. I just used some foam glitter shamrocks.  These could be made for any holiday or season! I love it on this wreath on my entry table!
